Common Questions

Many issues can be resolved without a lawyer. But in many cases, you will have a better outcome with the help of a competent attorney. Our free consultation will help you understand the benefits of engaging a lawyer so that you can make an informed decision.

You should consult with a lawyer as soon as possible. Many lawyers provide free initial consultations that will help you determine whether hiring a lawyer at that point is right for you.

I practice mostly in the area of disputes between persons or companies, commonly referred to as civil litigation. I am currently focused on litigation concerning consumer protection, residential construction and remodeling, and intellectual property. If your case does not fall within what I can directly help you with, I may be able to refer you to an attorney who help you.

The market rate for lawyers' hourly can seem probitive. If you are a consumer that has a case under DC's consumer protection laws, you may be able to recover attorney fees. In such cases we may be able to structure a fee agreement whereby some of my fees do not become payable untill the case is successfully settled or litigated.

The best way to reach me is to call me at the number at the top of the page. If I don't answer, I'll call you back when I'm available. You can also text me at that number or send me an email.
